Free Conference on exotic aquatic invasive species in Austin - July 30

Join Memphremagog Conservation (MCI) for an afternoon of discussion and awareness focused on exotic aquatic invasive species - a major issue for the health of our lakes.

Starting at 1:30 p.m., our team will welcome you at the information booth, where you can learn more about the main species of concern, their impacts on natural environments, and the steps you can take to prevent their spread.

At 2:00 p.m., Ariane Orjikh, biologist and Executive Director of MCI, will present a conference reviewing the current situation, exotic aquatic invasive species at our doorstep, and prevention methods.

The activity will conclude with an informal discussion period starting at 3:00 p.m., offering an opportunity tu speak with our team and ask your questions.
