Phragmite, also known as the common reed, is an exotic invasive species that threatens the biodiversity of the wetlands in Fitch Bay, lake Memphremagog. Since 2017, MCI and volunteers have been working to control an area invaded by this plant to prevent it from spreading through the bay's wetlands at the expense of native Quebec species.

Thank you for helping protect lake Memphremagog!

In collaboration with the Fondation de la faune du Québec and the Municipality of Stanstead Township.
